Education

Computer Science Engineering

2013 - 2017

On the Avans University I decided to get my Bachelor’s for Computer Science Engineering. This degree also includes two internships at Redkiwi and at Avanade Netherlands.

Data Science

2016 - 2017

As the Avans University requires us to follow a minor in the last semester of the program, I decided to follow a minor regarding Data Science. As the subject is very new, this was the best chance to get into the matter easily.

Havo

2011 - 2013

In the two years after Mavo, I was very dedicated to get my second degree on the secondary school and I managed to do so! This gave me the ability to get a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science.

Mavo

2007 - 2011

This has been the first year where I started to interact with programming languages, these include PHP, Java and C#.

Employment

Head of Parabot

2012 - Present

I started Parabot with my brother and it became the biggest macro for certain games. This macro is just a hobby, but I will update and improve it as long as I am able to. The client is written in Java and the website backend is written in PHP, using the Symfony framework. All of the source code is open source.

Developer at Grandcruwijnen.nl

2011 - Present

Grandcruwijnen.nl is actually the company that got me attracted to the programming languages, starting with the Joomla framework. Within a few years, the site got ported to Magento, whereas I continue to create modules for the system.

Software Engineer at Avanade

2017 - 2017

In the last semester at the Avans University, we had to do another internship. This time I decided to follow an internship at a bigger organization. At this internship, I researched the ability to setup Continuous Delivery for projects with ASP.NET Core and Isomorphic JavaScript. I completed this internship with a 7.5 (out of 10).

Developer at Redkiwi

2015 - 2017

As the Avans University required us to follow an internship, I decided to work as a WordPress developer at Redkiwi. Within the internship, I created a few tools to improve the development of WordPress projects. After the internship, Redkiwi asked me to continue working there, so I filled the free time I had as a developer at Redkiwi.

Freelancer

2012 - Present

The free time I have left, I try to fill with freelance work for different organizations. This includes both paid and volunteer work. Most of the websites I’ve created are written with PHP as the backend and for the desktop development, I’m using Java.
